My research investigates how consumers expect firms, and other consumers, to navigate the difficult socio-political issues of our times, with a focus on economic inequality and political polarization. My work has been published in leading academic journals including, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of Consumer Research, and Journal of Consumer Psychology.Â
At Darden I teach in the marketing core course for the full-time MBA program. I also teach a second-year elective, "Marketing and Society".
I hold an B.A. in Psychology from Harvard College and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Harvard Business School.
